THE NERVE
Records are not for sale - For your viewing pleasure only

Formaly known as Mark Faine And The Fontains, they changed their name as The Children when joined by Rob Duffy. They signed to Page One Records in 1967. Larry Page (Page One Records) insisted on a name change and liked ‘The Lovin’. As The Lovin' they made their record debut with "Keep on Believin'". One other record followed before they changed their name again, this time in The Nerve. They released 3 records as The Nerve with "Piece By Piece"as their best known. The songs were produced by Reg Presley from The Troggs, seeing them in action in a hotel where the Troggs stayed. He became their manager in 1968. Finally they had their last single "You Wrecked My Life" as Duffy Taylor Blues, before returning home as virtual unknowns.
